The Department of Biotechnology, Faculty of Science, organized the "Waste into Art II" event as part of the BYT311 – Integrated Waste Management and Economics course, under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hilal Yılmaz.

In the event, students created individual and group projects using various types of waste materials, approaching the concepts of recycling, reuse, and sustainability from an artistic perspective. The works on display aimed to demonstrate that waste is not only an environmental problem but also a resource for creative production.

"Waste into Art II" provided a hands-on learning environment that supported students' skills in design, problem-solving, and sustainable thinking, while also contributing to the raise of environmental awareness.
